I did my Accounting and Maths A level and got good grades but for Economics i did not. (edexcel)

I resit for economics Unit 1 two times already and i am not sure i can retake again or not?

As well as, i was wondering if i take Cambridge Economics and have Edexcel Accounting and Maths will that matter when i apply to University?

And anybody know how Edexcel economics is compared to Cambridge?
